Elk

This year Lance spent many days roaming the hills looking for the majestic bull elk. Bow season was a tough one as the bulls were not being very vocal. Lance was very close to sealing the deal a couple of times but never did drop the string. He stayed persistent going out every time he had the opportunity to get away. On the second weekend of Montana’s rifle season Lance and Jason were out looking for a deer for Lance when they spotted about 25 head of elk with one legal bull in the group. Shortly after getting a plan together the elk were spooked by hunters approaching from the other side. To Lance and Jason’s surprise the elk headed right for them.
