This turned out to the trip of a lifetime! Six members of the team had tags in their pocket which meant plenty of great video to be had. Jason and Tim in one camp, Jeff and Nick in another camp and Phil and Matthew in a third. Jeff started his dream hunt out right by taking a magnificent caribou bull on the second day of the hunt. This bull had awesome palmated tops, just what Jeff was hoping for!

After taking care of Jeff’s caribou the group turned to looking for trophy bull moose. It didn’t take long though, two days later Nick connected with a great 54" bull with “ the old 7 mag.” Phil and Matthew were into the action as well. Phil had managed to put a grizzly and a moose down in the first couple of days. Things slowed down after that as the weather decided to go south. Tim and Jason were spending everyday glassing and moving around on horseback just trying to find two legal bulls, which consists of five points on top with a rear kicker or six on top without the rear kicker. Just as things were looking dim Jason and Tim spotted a herd of caribou that looked to have two good bulls in it. After a short ride through the snowstorm Jason and Tim were in perfect position. It was awesome, the caribou moved right to them and they were able to knock down two great mountain caribou! Phil and Matthew also connected with two good bulls in the same snowstorm. All in all it was a great trip! Everybody had a blast and hopes to return to B.C. someday!
